The urban design for the technology park of Belo Horizonte BHTEC edits the key elements of site rebuilding its natural landscape. Thus, an existing river defines the boundary that differentiates the two major sectors of the park, while a lake in the lower terrain sets up a transition to area with steeper slope where administrative and research buildings will be erected, ensuring their hierarchical dominance in the entire complex. The relationship with large green area required a ecologically correct design that minimizes impacts on the natural environment.
