Out of 1,111 nominated works, 194 were chosen and presented to the international judges on April 1st and 2nd in Madrid, Spain. The final selection result, comprising 26 works, includes three other works in Brazil besides the Gallery. The Portuguese architect Eduardo Souto de Moura was also honored for his work.
