The premise of the maximum preservation of the existing vegetation guided the location of this residence on the top part of the terrain. Two suspended pavilions around a void conform the spaces of this house, which is configured by its wooden structure.
On the top part are located the bedrooms and the pedestrian access, and in the lower part are the living room, dining room, kitchen, service area and garage. The sloping terrain allowed the access to this two-floor residence to be made through the top floor.
A third volume completes the ensemble. Inside it is the owner’s studio, an artist. The studio’s cover, a green roof, creates a garden on the same level as the living area.
The design of the ML1 house originated the design of the ML2 house.
