Starting from a regular modulation (5×5 mts) the interior space explores the variety of levels and planes generated by shifts imposed on the grid, in order to best fit the spaces to program and to improve openings to the views of Jambreiro Forest. On the entrance level, the garage over the main built volume characterizes the house as an open roof garden, acting as an artificial landscape. The lateral ramp and the semi-interiorized and elevated terrace with a staircase increase possibilities of circulation, reediting the corbusian theme of the promenade architecturale. Subtle variations of levels and the minimum built elements in the interior space contributes to generate integration and continuity while subtly differentiating spaces in terms of its collective or individual use, avoiding functionally defining them.
