new agropeu headquarters
The architectural proposal emphasizes its strategic location along the highway, positioning the building as a visual landmark that reinforces the company’s identity.
With a modular steel structure (7.20 x 7.20 m) and planning based on a 1.20 m grid, the design combines construction speed, low waste generation, and high flexibility for future adaptations and expansions.
Solar orientation is carefully considered: west-facing façades without openings, the use of movable slate brise-soleils on the north and east façades, recesses and internal courtyards for thermal and visual comfort — all designed to reduce the use of air conditioning and enhance integration with the landscape, including on the green roof.
The organization of access points respects distinct flows (administrative and operational), with clearly defined hierarchies and independence between sectors, facilitating maintenance and security.
The distribution of spaces separates public and private areas, articulated by a central garden and organized around a mobile archive system that connects all of the company’s operational sectors.
Infrastructure systems are optimized: a raised floor allows for exposed installations and future reconfiguration; air conditioning systems are concentrated on the roof, reducing internal interference.
Materials prioritize durability, simplified maintenance, and regional identity: local slate in different tones for enclosures and brise-soleils, polished black granite flooring, drywall or glass partitions, and black floor-to-ceiling frames, enhancing visual integration with the gardens.
A project that expresses functionality, sustainability, and the valorization of local identity.
